Select Camp

June 1-4 - Select I (Jumping Seat and Western)
June 8-9 - Select II (Jumping Seat ONLY)

Select Camp is open to jumping seat or western riders graduating high school no later than 2030.  Campers will get a first-hand look at collegiate riding at the Division I level in the Southeastern Conference.  Participants will be assigned to a team for the duration and teams will participate in multiple practices, scrimmages, and a final competition in the NCEA format on the last day of camp.  Riders will have the opportunity to review film with the coaching staff, work out in the training facility and participate in a nutrition demo.  Campers will ride multiple AU Equestrian team horses, gaining valuable experience on different types of mounts.  Come experience what it is like to be a division I athlete!

***Auburn Equestrian camps are open to any and all entrants only restricted by age, gender and availability. It is imperative that our camps provide a safe, positive and beneficial forum for skill instruction and athletic advancement. For health and safety purposes of the participant and equine athletes it is suggested that jumping seat riders be competing in the hunters or equitation at a fence height of at minimum 3’3” and/or jumpers at a minimum fence height of 1.10m.  and western riders be competing in open shows ***

College Prep Camp

June 15-18 (Jumping Seat ONLY)
Cost: $3,000

College Prep Camp is open to jumping seat riders limited to athletes graduating high school no later than 2032. Campers will get a first-hand look at riding at the collegiate level.  Participants will ride multiple horses in riding rotations focused on developing skills for success in the collegiate format.  Campers will also have the opportunity to participate in a head-to-head scrimmage.  Throughout the week, riders will review film with the coaching staff and work out in the training facility.  Campers will have educational sessions focused on compliance and academics in order to gain a better understanding for collegiate athletics.  Come experience what it is like to be a division I athlete!

Elite Camp

Elite Camp is open to jumping seat riders limited to athletes graduating high school no later than 2032.  Campers will get a first-hand look at riding at the collegiate level.  Participants will ride multiple horses in riding rotations focused on developing skills for equitation over fences and on the flat.  Riders will review film with the coaching staff.  Riders will have the opportunity to ride multiple AU Equestrian Team horses, gaining valuable experience on different mounts.  Come experience what it is like to be a division I athlete!

Day Camp

June 8-11 
June 15-18
Camp drop off 9 AM and pick up 2 PM
Cost: $500

Day camps are open to kids ages 7-12 that have a love for horses!  Camp will run Monday-Thursday with drop off at 9 AM and pick up at 2 PM.  Campers will learn age appropriate horsemanship skills and stable management skills.  Campers will learn basic grooming and tacking skills before a daily riding lesson.  We will also have non mounted activities and arts and crafts.  Water and Gatorade will be available.  Campers should pack their own lunch and bring any snacks they might want.

It is imperative that our camps provide a safe, positive and beneficial forum for skill instruction.  In order to participate in the mounted part of camp all participants must have an ASTM/SEI approved riding helmet, long pants, and closed toed shoes***
